When you computer doesn't function properly it can cause unwanted stress. The lockups and unexpected shut downs are due to variety of things - incorrect settings, fragmented hard drives, bulky programs that slow down computer performance, viruses, spyware and more.
Your computer needs regular tune-ups just like your car does to keep it running in tip-top shape and operating as fast and optimized as when you first took it out of the box.
Not everyone is comfortable dealing with these problems on their own. If you are not a computer technician and are unsure of what to do when issues arise you should consider the Norton PC Tune-up service.
Norton PC Tune-up service is part of the Symantec Norton Premium Services. the Norton PC Tune-up service allows Norton experts to connect with you one-on-one, listen to the problems your encountering, and then directly access your computer via the Internet so they can run diagnostic tests and fix the problems while you sit back and watch. In addition to making your PC run like new, they can also help, with your permission, by ridding your computer of viruses, eliminating spyware, and installing software.
This One time service costs $69.99 and offers:
- Takes a long time to start up
- Slows down when you open multiple programs

Heck yeah!! Love to have this as my napster blew up for no reason and I lost tons of music.
I have had a hard drive crash before. I have also had a complete operating system meltdown. I try to keep my computer optimized, but this program would certainly help me out.
I really need this. I abuse my PC and I'm sure it would run so much better.

I never turned off the computer during bad thunder and lightning storms, and it would shut off and on real quick or shut down completely, and I destroyed the hard drive and mother board from doing that.
Ooohhh, just thinking about it gives me the shivers. LOL!! When I was a "newbie", I accidentally deleted my HARD DRIVE!!! YIKES!!!! You would think it would have set off BELLS!! Alarms!! Whistles!! WOO WOO...DO NOT DO THIS...WARNING...DANGEROUS..but this was pretty early in the days of computers and I think the computer figured I knew what I was doing...NOT!! Again...SHIVERS!!

Our computers have been dragging, and I hate the headache of starting over with a "clean slate" on the computers!
i am in great need of this
I got a virus on my new computer the day I took it out of the box.
Things are going so slow. I could use a little rejuvenation.
I could really use this to get me moving a little faster.
AztecFeller@aol.com
I had to reload napster again, luckily the 4606 songs are still there. I need a tuneup on my comp.
This must be the medicine my computer is looking for. She's sluggish, tired all the time and doesn't work worth the darn.

I have 3 PCs, but the worst disaster was the none when the Motherboard caps leaked. Oops.
One day while I was watching my window logos disappeared one by one
I tried to upgrade from XP to Vista. It was a disaster! I lost all my files and never was able to install Vista properly. So, I will continue on with XP for now. Jeers to Microsoft!

I lost my entire college independent study program because of too much computer junk.
When I couldn't access the Internet for days last July because of the Windows update/Firewall problem. Horrible!
My computer has been acting all weird and sickly..i think this is the perfect medicine to perk her right back up
I lost everything, including a couple of years worth of photos when my hard drive just went south and never came back.
my mother could use this
Ah, to have a computer that runs at top speed would seem like a miracle. My kids love to download everything and I have had to restore several times--which always causes a headache.
Thanks for the giveaway.
Do I ever need this. My computer is running slow and getting more pop ups and errors
So need to win this for our youngest who is having serious computer probs. I have a feeling she never restarts her computer and there's no telling what kind of spyware and bugs the thing has since she probably doesn't keep Norton update either. SIGH! trinitygsd at yahoo dot com
The sites my children visit have caused the computer to crash and lock up. This program would be very helpful
Keep up the good work!!

My computer used to not turn on randomly. I had to send it in twice to get it fixed. Turns out it was a defect in the computers, but I still haven't heard anything about a recall with it...
help
my greatest disaster happened at work. my computer crashed and I lost a month's business transactions, and had to recreate from the paperwork.
I wouldn't call it my "favorite" disaster, but just two weeks ago I got a nasty virus that took some work to get rid of!
MY LAPTOP CAN USE THIS
Once I knew someone sent me something bad, so I didn't open it, but saved it. Later in the week I accidently clicked on it---disaster!
Pleas pick me!
I learned my lesson about not backing up my hard drive the *hard* way -- I lost about 120 GB worth of mp3s, most of which I had purchased, about a year ago. I have learned my lesson and installed Norton 360 and invested in a good external hard drive since that disaster!
I wish it was only a crash, but last time the harddrive just quit and I hadn't backed up everything that needed backed up.
My husband tried to download some "free" music, and instead got some "free" viruses.

anytime i let my kids touch my computer its a disaster i always end up redoing it to factory conition..so i got them a desk top they can screw up all they want :)
I could use this. I have a history of computer disasters. Every six months I have to buy another computer. I feel like I am in the Nascar of computer using. garrettsambo@aol.com
Maybe this could save the computer in the basement. It has slowed down so much we can't even use it anymore.

My strangest problem is that while I am correcting or incerting text the curser jumps to a different location causing the new text to be placed at a random location and, at times, deleating part of the following text. (It even happened while typimg this)
Had a major hard drive crash not too long ago; thankfully I am very good at making sure I back all the important stuff up :)

I don't know if this counts as a disaster but I found a card for a private individual who repaired computers. Ours was loaded with spyware, games etc. He spent over 15 hours trying to repair it. He came to the house butt crack and all which amused my teenage son but he did get it working. rosans4@comcast.net
This would be perfect for my father. He is always complaining about his computer being slow, but doesn't trust any of us to look at it.
I would love this for my slow computer.

i could really use this! Thanks, Steph smiley_2516@yahoo.com
